Travelling on large ships has always been part of our life .....

2017:

On the RoCo ferry Grimaldi "Grande San Paolo" we return from South America to Europe .... probably for the last time ....
We sail from Montevideo (Uruguay) via Zárate (Argentine), Paranaguá (Brazil), Santos (Brazil), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Dakar (Senegal), Banjul (Gambia), Hamburg (Germany), Tilbury (Great Britain) to Antwerp (Belgium).

2015:

On the RoCo ferry Grimaldi "Grande Nigeria" we travel with the OKA from Hamburg (Germany) via Tilbury (Great Britain), Antwerp (Belgium), Dakar (Senegal), Conakry (Guinea), Freetown (Sierra Leone), Vitoria (Brazil), Rio de Janeiro Vitoria (Brazil), Santos Vitoria (Brazil), Paranaguá (Brazil), Zárate (Argentine) to Montevideo (Uruguay) to start the second part of our South America trip.

We interrupt our South America trip and travel with the OKA on the RoCo ferry Grimaldi "Grande Amburgo" from Montevideo (Uruguay) via Santos (Brazil), Dakar (Senegal) and Tilbury (Great Britain) to Antwerp (Belgium) where we disembark.

On the RoCo ferry Grimaldi "Grande Costa d'Avorio" we travel with the OKA from Hamburg (Germany) via Antwerp (Belgium), Le Havre (France), Dakar (Senegal), Santos (Brazil) and Zárate (Argentina) to Montevideo (Uruguay), where we disembark.

In November we travel with the OKA on the RoRo ferry Grimaldi "Grande Mediterraneo" from Ashdod (Israel) via Alexandria (Egypt), Salerno (Italy) to Savona (Italy).

In February we travel with the "M/V NSB Buxmelody" from Malaysia via Singapore to Thailand and back (Port Kelang [Malaysia], Singapore [Singapore], Laem Chabang [Thailand], Singapore [Singapore], Tanjung Pelepas [Malaysia], Port Kelang [Malaysia]).

We embark on the "CMA CGM Matisse" and travel through the Panama Channel to Australia.
We travel from Hamburg (Germany) via Rotterdam (Netherlands), Dunkerque (France), Le Havre (France), New York (USA), Norfolk (USA), Savannah (USA), Manzanillo (Panama), Panama Channel (Panama), Tahiti (France), Auckland (New Zealand), Noumea (New Caledonia), Sydney (Australia), Melbourne (Australia), Adelaide (Australia) to Fremantle (Australia)

While on tour with the "Comedian Harmonics" Ruedi travels on the "Hanseatic".

The Vogt-family returns to Europe through the Panama Channel on the "MS Stuttgart" (Hapag Lloyd).

1962:

The Vogt-family travels to Peru through the Panama Channel on the "Amerigo Vespucci" (Lloyd Tiestino-Italia Line).

The "Amerigo Vespucci" was built in 1942 as "Giuseppe Majorana" (BRT 9,744), 1944 destroyed by Germans at Genoa, 1947 salvaged and renamed to "Amerigo Vespucci". The vessel was scrapped in 1979.
